In this blog post, I'll share my tried-and-true recipe along with some tips to help you bake the best banana bread every time!🍞💗🍌
Ingredients:
3 medium ripe bananas
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 egg room temperature
1 & 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup sugar
Optional mix-ins: chopped pecans, chocolate chips, or a pinch of cinnamon
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until semi smooth (chunks are okay). Stir in the Greek yogurt and egg
3. Add the baking soda, flour and sugar together. Combine thoroughly
4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the banana mixture and stir until just combined - be careful to not over mix! The batter should be thick
5. If desired, fold in any optional mix-ins such as chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or cinnamon
6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then serve warm (with butter is my favorite)
9. ENJOY!
